You don’t need to know wrestling. You need to show up.
Most of our coaches started as a parent standing on the edge of the mat. Now they’re the person a nervous six-year-old looks for before their first match.
We have kids in grades K-8 and not enough hands on the mat. Every extra coach means more kids get real attention, more partner drills get corrected, and fewer kids get lost in the crowd.
What your first night looks like
You’ll be paired with our experienced coaches. You’ll have the option to run a warm-up game, help kids drill one basic skill, and cheer them on. By the end of the night you’ll have learned a stance, a movement, and a few names. No one expects you to teach a takedown.
Pick the level that fits your life
- Practice helper: Come when you can. [Days/times] at [location]. Even one night a month helps.
- Season coach: Work with one group all season and watch them grow.
- Tournament coach: Corner a wrestler on tournament days. We’ll teach you the rules.
- Behind the scenes: Help with events, registration, and setup. No mat time required.
What we ask
Be patient, be positive, and be reliable. If you say you’ll be there, be there, because kids notice.
